3D Systems invents the factory… in a cube

3D-Systems-Prox-4003D Systems caused a sensation at the Euromold 2014 Frankfurt Show with its latest 3D, the ProX 400 printer. 3D metal printing literally changes dimension. This huge cube no longer has a blush in the aisles of a lounge as Euromold, in the middle of the imposing machine tools. Printer capable of producing parts of production in various alloys and metals, including steel, aluminum, titanium, cobalt/chromium. The impression tray is eventually limited (500mm x 500mm x 500mm) but the advantage of the 400 ProX lies elsewhere. It is indeed equipped with 2 laser (from 500 W to 1 KW) who are simultaneously working on the piece. Result, according to its designer, it may produce a part after 15 minutes of printing only.
