This is a project of the Laboratory for Autonomous Systems at ETH Zurich. The script implements a walking robot and a drone. Swiss researchers will work the robot and the drone. The latter plays the role of the robot scout. To enable the robot to move over rough and unknown terrain of it, the drone will map the scene using its onboard camera, will identify barriers and establish places elevation map. This card will allow the robot to establish a possible route. The robot will be able to embark on its exploration and complete the map provided by the drone, possibly respond to changes that may have occurred since the passage of the drone.
