On the occasion of the arrival of the first collaborative robots or cobots in its factory in Cologne, Ford has unveiled a humorous video featuring these new-generation robots. If these robots work alongside humans, are likely to share coffee with the workers, but they will help install the shock absorbers of the Fiesta. The cobots will wear these heavy parts and place them at their location so workers are finalising the installation. If robots are only to ensure the positions of welding and painting on automotive chains, the cobots are gradually placed on positions that only humans were capable of holding.
