Atlas, Boston Dynamics’ flagship robot victim of “the demo effect”

The demonstrations of robots created by Boston Dynamics always trigger a flow of shares on social networks. With often reason both the performance dispaayed by the robots of the former robotic subsidiary of Google seem ahead of their time.
The Atlas presented by Marc Raibert founder of the company at the Congress organized by the Academy of Future scientists and Technologists would have gone well from such publicity. The robot, after having made a rather convincing demonstration in the company of the robot quadruped SpotMini, left the scene in a rather spectacular way … and premature.
