Video of the week: Demonstration of Google Lunar XPrize’s Moonraker robot

Hakuto, the japenese team who participates in the Google Lunar XPRIZE install his Lunar robot in a department store Mitsukoshi in Tokyo. The objective is to arouse the interest of the public for this crazy project to send a robot to the moon. It will be the first time that a private initiative will send a robot to the Moon in order to take some pictures. American, European, Malaysian, Indian teams are now in the final stretch to prepare their space vehicles and their robots before the launch. Visitors have the opportunity to operate the robot team Peter Moonraker while engineers work on the final version that will take maybe the Google Lunar XPrize in a few months.
