Toyota has designed a mini robot as a travel companion

Toyota-Kirobo-MiniRemembering flight in space of Kirobo, a robot created by Toyota and able to interact with the human. It had been sent to the ISS to keep company with Japanese astronaut. a project which, in addition to global media research, will not stay without suites. The automaker has unveiled a “Mini” version at the Tokyo Motor Show. The robot companion as a new option of the connected car? The leading manufacturer believes.

Toyota Kirobo MiniIn addition to a body fully transformed into LCD screen, this autonomous car already had a wizard in the form of a hologram that interfered with the driver when the car was in standalone mode. An innovation which had however been presented in video.

4 years later, the hologram to gives way to a robot mini that will be more disposed to the driver, but at his side, between the two front seats. This Mini Kirobo is both a means of interaction with the driver, both for the car for Toyota’s Cloud applications. For the manufacturer, this friendly little robot will be a spy small fantastic which will be able to supply Toyota’s Big Data database. Toyota has not delivered a date for the arrival of the wire in its cars, but the palatability of the Japanese for the robots should facilitate its adoption in the archipelago. As to Europe or the United States, it will probably be another story!
