Video of the week: 90 seconds in the Tesla of Fremont, California plant

The communication of Tesla Motors has posted this week a small video that presents the main plant of the automaker, in Fremont, California. A factory ultra-robotic but where the human is not absent.
The plant, formerly called NUMMI (for New United Motor MAnufacturing Inc.), had been built by General Motors and Toyota in 1984 to produce Chevy Nova and Toyota Corolla. Today is the industrial heart of Tesla Motors.

It was abandoned in 2009 following the collapse of the American automobile industry. A year later, Tesla Motors took possession of the premises for $ 42 million (while its construction had cost $ 1 billion). In the third quarter of 2015, this plant produces 13,091 Tesla Model S, its new record.
